Mr. Darcy Goes Overboard: A Tale of Tide & Prejudice is a cute and quirky adaption of Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice that is set in the modern world. I liked how these characters retained the original characters personalities and it was interesting how the author incorporated their characters into our times. If you are a serious Austin fan than this is probably not a book for you, since at times it takes a tongue and cheek approach to the story that is hilarious. I do think that you do need to at least have read Pride and Prejudice to read this since there would be no context to compare it too and it would a bit silly. Overall though, a fun summer read.
